I crafted almost everything when it was my wedding. It was important to include my love of DIY and handmade on my day and I love it when other couples embrace the handmade too! So when Jenny told me she was making a hell of a lot of things for her wedding, I was super excited!
Now when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. Jenny made everything you could think of. Clay hearts for place-cards, map themed bunting, meters of ribbons everywhere, and so much more. Not only were the rooms filled with home made decorations, there was home made cake in abundance! One wedding cake wasn't enough for these guys...they settled with two wedding cakes and a WHOLE table of yummy cakey goodness. These are my kind of people!
The laid back feel fitted perfectly with The Everyman Theatre, a quirky city centre venue. I hadn't been in the Everyman since before it was renovated and I was so impressed. There is so much space and fabulous places for photographs including a balcony big enough to fit all your guests! We even managed to sneak into the theatre for some fun group shots. If you're looking for something a little bit different for your wedding or you share a love of theatre (and good food!) then its definitely a wedding venue you should consider, and with Hope Street right there on the doorstep there's loads of fabulous places if you want to sneak off for some quieter couples photos!
